Curling is a precision-based game where players slide stones across a playing surface toward a circular target made up of four concentric rings, known as the house. Often compared to bowls, bocce, or shuffleboard, curling combines skill, teamwork, and friendly competition.

Two teams—each made up of two to four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones (called rocks) toward the center of the house. Each team uses eight stones total, with every player delivering two stones per round, known as an end.

The objective is simple but strategic: score points by placing your stones closer to the center of the house than your opponent’s once all stones have been played. Games typically consist of eight to ten ends, keeping players and spectators engaged throughout.
