In BurgerTime Classic, players control Chef Peter Pepper using a four-position joystick and a “pepper” button to build towering hamburgers while dodging enemy foods. Each level is a maze of platforms and ladders, filled with giant burger ingredients—buns, meat patties, tomatoes, and lettuce.

As Peter walks across each ingredient, it drops to the level below, potentially knocking down other ingredients. Complete a burger when all vertically aligned ingredients land on the waiting plate, and clear the board by finishing every burger while avoiding enemies.
